Scam advisory issued regarding fake arrest warrants SUMMIT COUNTY — Summit County Common Pleas Court Administrative Judge Alison McCarty announced Nov. 25 that Summit County residents should be aware of scams involving a demand for money to avoid arrest. Scammers are utilizing fake arrest warrants bearing court and law enforcement officials’ names to pressure residents into paying cash to avoid being jailed, she said in a press release.
